Hello and welcome to 'Hypnosis Rostrum'- a password protected discussion forum for all hypnosis professionals which is free to join!

'Hypnosis Rostrum' provides the unique opportunity for professionals around the globe who use hypnosis to share information and suggestions.

The Discussion Boards are in categories to allow each profession to discuss hypnosis topics which are specific to their field. For discussion which is relevant to all professionals using hypnosis you should post in the "All Professionals" board.

Society Boards are also available for the posting of society news and information. (Please ask the administrator if you wish a board for your society).

There is also a seperate board for announcing courses, conferences and training to ensure that all members are aware of the current calendar. Please note that any courses etc. posted which are not organised by a recognised professional society may be erased.

It is free to join! however, you must become a member to view and contribute in any discussion. This protects the board from being viewed by the general public and keeps it exclusively for professionals. After you have registered, please email hypnosisrostrum@hotmail.co.uk giving your name, qualifications, profession and the hypnosis society to which you belong. It is important that you do this as otherwise you will not be sent the password to access the boards.

As this is a free Forum page, it is sponsered by adverts. This means that there may be adverts relating to hypnosis in a box at the head of the page. As these adverts are outwith the control of the board, please do not assume that they are endorsed by professional bodies. It is possible to pay to make the site ad-free. The rules of this board are simple:
1) No ads for commercial services (apart from relevant services ).
2) No blatant/graphic/irrelevant adult content
3) Avoid personal insults. Heated debate is fine, as long as it doesn't get personal.
4) The administrator/s reserve/s the right to delete any post for any reason. If you feel your post/s has/have been unfairly deleted, please contact hypnosisrostrum@hotmail.co.uk
5) All posts must be in English.
6) Members should maintain patient confidentiality as they would normally when discussing cases. It is advised that, when possible, you change the age, gender, etc of the patient. Also any other insignificant details regarding the case should be altered. Obviously the patient's real name should ALWAYS be changed - never give a patient's real identity. Although not accessable to the general public, confidentiality must nevertheless be maintained. It is the responsibility of the member posting to ensure that this confidentiality is maintained, and that cases are discussed responsibly. Never belittle a patient's problem or make any inappropriate jovial comment regarding any case.
7) Members of 'Hypnosis Rostrum' MUST be professionals who are members of a recognised hypnosis society. Anyone suspected of not meeting this criteria will have their membership revoked, until able to prove otherwise.
8) You must complete your profile and include in your signature your name, qualifications, profession and hypnosis society. e.g:
Tam O'Shanter BDS (Gla)
Dentist, BSMDH (Scotland)
(Feel free to include your web address if you have one.)
9) Upon registering, you must email hypnosisrostrum@hotmail.co.uk, providing your name, profession, qualifications and details of which hypnosis society you belong.
10)It is the responsibility of each member to ensure that all members adhere to these rules. If you suspect or aware of any member in breach of the rules, please contact the administrator or a moderator immediately.


If you'd like to delete any of your own posts, please let us know and we'll delete them at the earliest opportunity.
