INTRAVENOUS SEDATION

INTRAVENOUS SEDATION is a reliable and effective means of producing sedation with a rapid onset of action.

Midazolam is the most common drug used. IV sedation is good for patients who do not wish to  remember anything which has happened, and for this reason can be a benefit for long or difficult procedures eg complex oral surgery.
