This is a new society and details of how to join and the benefits of membership etc will be updated on this page soon. Membership of the society will be available to healthcare professionals who have a registered qualification and a regulatory body.

There are numerous dental anxiety management techniques and the society will help bring together all psychological, pharmacological, clinical, technological etc techniques utilised in helping people overcome their fears and phobias.

THE ISDAM LOGO:

1) 'Staff'/'rod' of large 'I' for 'iota'- to represent greek  prefixes/suffixes such as - 'iatro-, iater-, -iatria, -iatric, -iatrician, -iatrics, -iatry' (Greek: physician; heal, cure, treat; medical healing)

3) Greek letter 'Phi' Φ which is the first greek letter in Pharmacology (pharmakon, "drug"; and, -logia, translated as "study of").
